Josef Bílek
Born in 1946, graduated at the Pedagogical Faculty (majors geography - civics) in České Budějovice (1970).
He works as a teacher.
Many years he was engaged in the Czech association of conservationists of nature. He created the "Instructional Trail Kovářovsko" in the region of Kovářov, he is the author of the publication "Kovářov - region guide" (1988) and co-author of the publication "Milevsko and neighbouring regions from A to Z" (Association for cultural development in Milevsko, 2000). He published many articles with the geographical, cultural and local history topics linked to the South Bohemian region mostly.
Concerning this work he wrote most of the texts, he is an author of the maps and a majority of the photos. He took part in the final emendation of the whole work. He prepares the system extension, seeks for and processes data for new entries.
