The nature park Čeřínek lies on the slope of the hill of the same name (761 m) about 10 km west of the town Jihlava and about 5 km east of the small town Nový Rychnov.

The Čeřínek park is preserved for its valuable localities with many places of interests of the animated and insentient nature. The whole area is covered with mixed forests. The Hojkovské Rašeliniště (Hojkov Peat-Bog) is located in the north-western part of the park. It is a habitat of several protected plants and rare species of insects. The interesting rock outcrop with small dishes can be found in the area called Na Skalce (On a Small Rock). The wooded hill called Čertův Hrádek (Devil's Small Castle) with interesting rock formations is situated in the south-western part of the park. The natural ground covered with beeches and firs is protected in the southern part called Přední Skála (Front Rock). There is also a huge rock outcrop, 11 m high and 22 m long, with a sea of stones in this part. The path of the instructional trail Čeřínek leads through the park.

Čeřínek hill is a favourite winter holiday centre. The ski-slope with ski-lift and several trails for cross-country skiing can be found there.

The peak of Čeřínek hill is accessible along the road from the village Kostelec (about 10 km south-east of Nový Rychnov), which ends in the parking-lot below the top. The green marked tourist path leads from Kostelec to the peak as well. The yellow sign runs from the small village Dolní Cerekev to the peak too and it continues to the village Mirošov. The red sign leads through the park from the east to the west.
