The new suspension bridge was finished in 1991 on the northern outskirts of the town Tábor. It crosses Jordán pond between the eastern and western banks.

The concrete construction is underslung with cables on the 77 m high pylon 10.5 m above the water level. The main field is 111 m long, but the whole bridge is 280.5 m long.
The bridge, which does not belong to the biggest bridges in South Bohemia, became a new architectural dominant feature of Tábor due to its technical construction.
The traffic bypass around the town leads on the bridge.
