The small village Zavlekov lies about 5 km west of the small town Nalžovské Hory near the small river called Bradlava, 590 m a.s.l.

The first mention of the village originates from 1334. At that time Zavlekov was under the ownership of Dluhomil of Velhartice, who founded the fortress on the rock above the village. The owners of the fortress often changed through centuries. At the end of the 15th century the village was property of the family of Švihov. They built the new fortress, which was rebuilt into granary (18th century). The old one was restored and reconstructed in the Romantic style in 1856 by Ludvík Taaff, the holder of the domain of Nalžovské Hory.
The Late-Baroque Church of the Most Holy Trinity was built in 1773.

About 2 km south of Zavlekov there is a recreational pond called Valcha with traces of the former fort on the bank.
