The small village Vráž is well-known due to the spa, which is oriented to the healing of the nervous illnesses. It lies about 10 km north of the town Písek, 427 m a.s.l.

The village is divided into two parts - the southern part called Stará Vráž (Old Vráž) with spa and the northern part Nová Vráž (New Vráž) near the railway station.

The most valuable sight in Vráž is the Pseudo-Gothic mansion of the Lobkowitz family. It was built in 1881 in the wooded countryside on the southern outskirts of the village. There is a large park with several trails in the wood around the mansion.
