The St. Catherine's Church was built under the design of the architect Jan Caneval in the place of the older Early-Gothic sacral building. After fire in 1756 the church was renewed and after next fire in 1863 it was rebuilt into its present appearance.

The single-aisled church has a trilateral presbytery, a domed tower and a chapel from 1756 on the southern side.
The side altar and the altar in the southern chapel originates from the first half of the 18th century and were brought from the Schlägl monastery (Austria) in 1863.
