The Franciscan monastery and the St. Catherine's Church were built between 1478 - 1491. They burnt down many times and later reconstructions totally changed their original appearance. The monastery has a Baroque face, the church has a Renaissance appearance.
The single-aisled church has a polygonal presbytery with two round chapels which were added in the second half of the 17th century - the St. Anthony's Chapel and the Portiuncula's Chapel.
