The Minorite monastery with the Church of Corpus Christi and Annunciation of the Virgin was founded in 1350 by the Rožmberks. The monastery was rebuilt during the 15th century into the Late-Gothic style, the church was reconstructed in the Baroque style under the design of Stefan Perti and Jakub de Maggi between 1649 - 1681.
The two-aisled church with the square presbytery (arched with the cross vault) has the barrel vault. The side aisle is a part of the original cloister of the monastery. The Late-Gothic cloister with valuable paintings is adjoined on the southern side.
The furnishings in the church come from the 17th and 18th centuries.
